20 WEEKS STYLE | IT'S A...

We are beyond excited to be welcoming another little lady in December! Josephine has been saying it's a "wittle sister" the entire time, and wouldn't you know she was right ;) Back at our 16 week appointment my doctor thought maybe it was a boy, but didn't want to say for sure one way or the other. Fast forward to our scan on Friday and this little one was being oh-so-modest and not showing us a thing! I really thought we were going to have a delivery room surprise whether we liked it or not.  My doctor was jiggling my belly, pushing on it, you name it to get this child to give us a good look. It was really quite hilarious. Finally, after taking a bit of break, chatting, and poking my belly a bit more, we were able to confirm with a good bit of certainty that we were having a little girl! I held on to a lot of Josephine's old baby clothes with the thought that maybe we might have another little girl someday. Of course a little boy would have been so much fun, but it would have been so sad (and so hard for me) to have to get rid of all of those sweet little baby things. And it makes me feel a little less crazy for lugging all those clothes to London with us ;) I can't wait to see this little one in some of my favorite teeny tiny outfits.
I am starting to feel those little kicks and rolls. It's one of my favorite parts of being pregnant--feeling this new life moving inside of me. Other than being extremely tired at the end of the day, I am feeling really good at this point. I couldn't be more thankful as Josephine likes to keep me on my toes all day long! I started back at the gym and I really believe this is helping to keep the aches and pains at bay. I always feel my best--physically, mentally, emotionally--when exercise is a priority and pregnancy is no different. I just listen to my body. If I am not feeling it on a particular day I don't go to the gym. If I am feeling tired I don't push myself. I don't pay attention to the speed or distance on the treadmill. Exercising while pregnant is, dare I say, more enjoyable than when not pregnant... I know, now I sound like a crazy person!
