We moved to London in the middle of a mini-heatwave last summer. It didn't rain at all the first couple of weeks we were here that I can recall. Definitely a pleasant surprise given all you hear about London weather. But, people kept saying: just wait for winter! Well, turns out they were pretty spot on. Winter in London can be pretty miserable. It's cold. It's rainy. It gets dark at 4pm. If it's not a downpour, you really have to make it a priority to get up and out of the house in the morning or else you will slowly go crazy. Especially if you have a toddler! Of course there are days that are meant for staying in your pjs all day. On those days we do lots of finger painting, coloring, and putting stickers all over the walls. ;)

When we are going a bit stir-crazy from being cooped up inside, these are some of our favorite places to go...

Science Museum

The Quince Tree Cafe at Clifton Nurseries

London Transport Museum

Library Story Time

Toddler's World Soft Play

School of Rock-a-bye Babies
