Healthy snacking is key to keeping on track with your fitness or health goals. All it takes is a little planning + preparation and you will have healthy, satisfying alternatives to the usual pre-packaged, processed things we tend to grab when we are craving a little something. I shared my three current favorites above. The apple "cookies" are great when you are craving something sweet! I'm trying to stay away from sugar this month, so I leave off the chocolate chips. Almond butter, cinnamon, and raisins are super yummy together. I can't count the amount of times I've made the granola. It is so simple and so delicious! I eat it with some almond milk and fresh berries. It's also great with greek yogurt, or if you are feeling adventurous make some of that whipped coconut milk she includes in the recipe. It would make a perfect healthy dessert. Popcorn is probably one of my all-time favorite snacks. Within the last year or so Pete and I have come around to the glorious world of popping our popcorn on the stove. We love to experiment with different spices to jazz it up! The sweet curry popcorn above is divine. I also came across this ah-mazing list of popcorn recipes. Can't wait to try them all! Happy snacking :)
