With the big move approaching (two weeks from TODAY, people!) we have been all over the place making our rounds and visiting family. Road warriors. That's been our life lately! We made a stop in Upstate New York to visit with Pete's brother and his family. It was so much fun seeing Josephine with her cousins, especially Nate who just turned four. She was his shadow the entire time. "Nate! Nate! Nate!" He was so sweet with her and was so excited to show her everything--his toys, the cool things to play with at the library. Josephine's verbal skills are really taking off, but she is still kind of hard to understand. Apparently I am the best at "translating" since Nate told everyone to "Ask Aunt Eh-win. She always knows what Josephine is saying..." Oh, I could just eat him up!
We were honored to be our niece's Godparents while we were in town. Hannah is such a little doll. She has the longest eyelashes and her smile just melts you! Heartbreaker. That adorable baptism gown was handmade by my sister-in-law. She is such a talented seamstress and knitter. I loved looking at all of her handmade creations while we were visiting. It really inspired me to make more time for knitting. It's something I love to do, but I just haven't had the time. I picked up my needles and some cozy yarn yesterday for the first time in forever. It felt so good... like a breath of fresh air.
