A portrait series of my daughter once a week for 52 weeks.

I went in to this move knowing it would be a whole bunch of crazy. I felt pretty prepared to throw my hands up, go with the flow, and just plain old deal with whatever would be thrown our way. But, no matter how prepared you think you are things just aren't easy when all of your stuff is packed in boxes and you are living out of a suitcase in a one bedroom hotel room... with a toddler. Whine, whine. I know. Shame on me. We are moving to one of the most amazing places in less three days. I think I could take a little lesson from Josephine. She's handling all this craziness better than anyone. She's just living the high life this week. Give her an iPad and a couple Daniel Tiger episodes and she is good to go. In all seriousness, though, she is such a trooper. And anytime she starts to get fussy or throws something across the room for no apparent reason, I take a deep breath and remember that she is going through all of this change, too. She's allowed to be frustrated. When she's a bit older, old enough to understand, I need to remember to thank her for this time. For just being her. It is making all the not-so-fun parts of this move much more bearable.
