FOOD LOVE/VOL. 4

This round of favorite recipes is definitely 'tried and true.' I've made all of these no less than three times in the past month. And each time I was reminded why I loved it so much the first time! I tend to do that with good meals. I make it. I like it. I make it a bazillion more times. When you find something that everyone likes, including a toddler, you keep that one in the rotation for a good while. Those lemon chia seed muffins are di-vine! They are super moist and fluffy. And, the ingredients include ricotta cheese. Oh yum! If you haven't had israeli couscous, then this salad is a must. It's also a must if you've tried israeli couscous before. But I think that probably goes without saying.  Pete said, and I quote, "this is the best salad you've ever made." Well, there you go, folks. I made this black bean soup on a whim when my mom was in town a couple of weeks ago. If I'm being honest, I was a little weary of how this one was going to turn out, but I was so very wrong. Love when a recipe you think is going to be just okay turns out to be pretty darn delicious. Especially a crock pot meal. You never really know what you're going to get until it's all said and done. Just a tip: eat this with a big dollop of sour cream and some good, shredded sharp cheddar cheese. So good!
