PARTY DETAILS: DIY CIRCLE GARLAND

I am all about decorations that give a lot of bang for your buck, and this garland truly fits the bill. It is super simple to create, and is such a fun visual to have hanging at your party! It's the perfect back drop for a food, drink or gift table. You could even make a fun backdrop wall for photos with several of these.
You will need…
Cardstock (in colors of your choice)
1" Hole Punch
2" Hole Punch
Thread (I used white)
Sewing Machine
With your card stock and hole punches, cut out a bunch of circles. You can pre-plan the layout of the garland and decide how many of each size/color you will need before cutting, or you can just begin randomly cutting and figure out a layout after. I did the latter and it worked out fine. Once the circles are cut, arrange them in your preferred layout. I created a pattern of about 15 circles and just repeated that for the length of the garland. When you have everything the way you want it, stack the circles. Depending on how many you have, you may need to create several piles. This will make it much easier for you once it comes time to sew them together.
Finally, begin to feed the circles through your sewing machine, one-by-one, making sure to leave a tail of thread on either end to use in hanging. You can space the circles as close together or as far apart as you like. My completed garland used about 100 circles and was around 15' long. This garland is still hanging in our kitchen, but I plan to move it to the wall behind her play teepee in my craft room, or maybe put it somewhere in her room. It's just too cute to get rid of!
